Looking Back, Looking Ahead
In front of Jean Street block of homes (Rendering by Nick Dean Architect)
We started with a vision of creating distinctive, high-quality homes for Grapevine’s walkable downtown. We studied classic urban townhomes from the later 1800s and early 1900s, from cities in North America and beyond. We took inspiration from Grapevine’s Historic Main Street, and from the new Grapevine Main and Hotel Vin — especially the craftsmanship in the detailed brickwork and tilework. Nash & Berry is the result of this effort: contemporary homes for today’s needs, staying true to classical design elements, and honoring the history of Grapevine, our hometown.
Beyond the rigorous (yet enjoyable) design effort is a lot of hard work with city staff and city leadership. That work paid off with City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission approval of the project in April 2024! Now the next phases of work begin…
We will use this News page to keep you up to date on project milestones. Along the way, we will also share insights into Nash & Berry design and build decisions — the artistic and the practical. Thank you for following along!
